As part of COMILOG’ mineralized sands recovery project in Gabon, MECATER ENGINEERING has completed a detailed design including the short and long-terms stability assessment of a 100 m height waste tip, the design of sands recovery including excavation and backfilling methodologies and technical justifications, earthworks and water management details, construction schedule and works cost estimate. The recoverable mineralized materials quantity is about 200 000 cubic meters.
